Wedding Wednesday { Merrill Wedding Sneak Peek }

Hi friends, today i’m so very excited to share with y’all a sneak peek of photos and a little insight into my first elle mae bloom bride and groom, Rheon and michael’s, wedding day. i will be doing a full post with all the decor details soon but I just wanted to share a little peek into the decor design for today’s wedding Wednesday post!

rheon {isn’t she gorgeous!?} was much like myself as a bride, very hands on and took ownership of all planning and details. I was simply there to offer up suggestions and concept ideas when it came to planning and decor and of course i was there on the day of to make her vision and all the details come to life.

rheon and michael had their ceremony and RECEPTION at the lovely and historic 1894 restoration in liberty, mo. This venue was full of gorgeous character having it’s ORIGINAL hard wood floors, brick walls, and vintage pressed tin ceilings. This was the perfect backdrop for rheon’s tablescape vision to come to life.

coral, black and white stripes, gold, and peach was the COLOR SCHEME which all played out beautifully in the guest tables. my favorite detail rheon and michael did was use 36″ jumbo confetti balloons from the pink antlers studio with greenery and floral accents as their center pieces – genius! this was so very UNIQUE, whimsical, charming and so different – i absolutely loved it and it turned out picture perfect! custom ‘thank yous’ and coasters were placed on each place setting along with custom koozies and napkins at the bar. a variety of gold straws and drink stirrers were also AVAILABLE for guest adding that personal detailed touch to their reception.

we kept the WHIMSICAL vibe alive by having the amazing calligrapher kyla from crafty ky write beautiful quotes on mirrors and frames as well as create the gorgeous seating chart and welcome sign. small yet important details like these gorgeous agate slices, also by kyla, were placed on each of the head table place settings for the wedding party.

though the guest tables were ABSOLUTELY stunning i think the desert table takes the cake for me (no pun intended 😉 ) I mean look how gorgeous all of these fabulous bundt cakes from nothing bundt cake look on the assortment of fabulous cake stands all placed over that gorgeous rose gold sequin tablecloth. at the end of the night rheon and michael added another special and personalized touch by having the most delicious cookies in the cutest goodie bags for guest to take home with them.

stay tuned for more photo’s and even more decor details on rheon and michael’s wedding day coming soon!!

always,

x  – Leah
