F R I Y A Y { FAVORITES}

friyay-favorites

Hello lovlies, I hope everyone had a fabulous first week into the new year! It’s crazy how much having to use my brain after 9 days off work can make me this mentally exhausted! I’m ready for a weekend of staying cozy inside, putting away Christmas decor, and prepping for a healthy and productive week ahead. With the hustle and bustle of the holiday’s behind us I’m going to get back into my regular routine of FRIYAY FAVORITES! I’ve had so many of you ask what happened to Friyay Favorites so I hope your all just as excited as I am to have this consistent post back every week! Along with that “Wedding Wednesday’s” will also make a consistent return on the blog! I’m so excited to start the new year off right by having – yep you guested it – consistency in every aspect of my life, especially the blog! Leave a comment below letting me know what topics you’d like to see me cover in 2017!

{ Favorite Hair Product }

I absolutely love Drybar, from their amazing hairspray ( Money maker flexible hold is my fav ), to their Texas Tea Volumizing spray, and then my favorite products the Detox Dry Shampoo & Condition and the Triple Sec 3-in-1.  If you’ve never used Drybar and  want to give it a try with out fully committing I suggest buying their Mini Must Have’s set which includes the Dry Shampoo, Dry Conditioner, and Triple Sec 3-in-1. The Dry Shampoo is perfect for after the gym or when you’re going on day 2 or 3  of unwashed hair. It absorbs oils and leaves your hair feeling  clean between washes The Dry Conditioner is perfect for detangling and it also  softens and hydrates dry ends between washes. The Triple Sec 3-in-1 has to be my favorite though, it creates tousled, sexy texture, volume, and fullness no matter if you just washed your hair or it’s been 4 days. I always keep Triple Sec in my purse!

{ Favorite Winter Accessory }

Winter has definitely arrived (in Kansas anyway) and I just love this beanie with pom – it’s so cute and will keep your little ears warm all winter long!

{ Favorite Drink }

With the new year and my approach to a healthy lifestyle I’m doing all I can to keep the holy grail of beverages {WATER} exciting! I absolutely love fruit infused water.  You don’t need a fancy filtered pitcher or water bottle – you can use a normal pitcher and just toss in your favorite fruit mixture and then let it infuse for a few hours for the ultimate flavor. Just keep refilling the water as you run out and until the fruit starts to turn. Here is my favorite infused water recipe, we even had it at our wedding reception pictured below.

Basil Berry Infused Water

1 pint strawberries, sliced // 10 fresh basil leaves, torn // 1 lemon, sliced // 2 quarts water

{ Favorite Furniture }

 How gorgeous is this Chair!? If only I had a furniture addiction fund 🙁 I’m obsessed!

{ Favorite Fashion Inspired Decor }

I just adore this Chanel No 5 perfume inspired gold cube vase! Perfect to hold just about anything – a small bouquet of roses, pretty pens at the office, or these pretty make up brushes!

{ Favorite Office Supplies }

I’m all about having a pretty work space to keep you inspired and I’m in love with these Rifle Paper Co. floral folders, so pretty!

{ Favorite 2016 Memory }

I of course had to end with a ‘new year’ theme. My hands down favorite memory of 2016 would definitely have to be marrying Mr. E. Lowe. It was a beautiful day and night celebrating and I couldn’t be happier to become Mrs. Leah Lowe.
