Fringe Cardigan Sweater // Free People Hybrid Heel Boot // Cozy Front Porch

It’s really starting to feel like fall around here in Kansas. As I sit here and type this post it’s 7:30 PM and almost completely dark outside. Just a short couple weeks ago the sun was still shining until 9:00 PM, so crazy. The weather over the past weekend had that perfect crispness and light breeze in the air, there were even a few leaves falling from the trees above. I took advantage of the beautiful weather and did a little front porch decorating for the fall season.

We don’t have a very big porch and I tend to get a little carried away with the decor. My husband, Erick, told me our my summer porch display was “too cluttered” haha. While I can appreciate any outside set of eyes I definitely took it with a grain of salt yet apparently also listened because I went a little less “cluttered” for my fall porch display. Less is more sometimes right? Our front porch is so cozy and we really love sitting out in our rocking chairs and enjoy a good glass of wine (or beer for Erick) while reminiscing on the day or whatever’s going on in life.

Making the front porch rockin’ even cozier was this Double Zero Fringe Cardigan Sweater and this Free People Hybrid Heel Boot. Both are perfect transitional pieces to add to your fall wardrobe. I love the simplicity of this outfit yet those little details make it stand out so while it’s simple, it’s not boring. The adorable fringe and crochet edge on the sweater and the gorgeous strappy  leather detail on the boots are perfection. Of course I’m wearing a t shirt dress because what’s more comfortable than that while still looking put together? Nothing. The answer is nothing. This burnt orange color is perfect for fall and it’s literally everywhere for you to go snag up for fall!
