I am so very, very, VERY excited to be sharing this post with y’all today. It’s truly been a long time coming, a full year in fact. We repainted the entire kitchen/living room area this time last year. We then painted the kitchen cabinets white, upgraded the cabinet pulls and added the marble backsplash last spring. Like any homeowners, I’m sure, Erick and I still had a long list of projects we wanted to tackle eventually before selling this house in couple of years. Things like new floors, re-painting the white doors and trim, replacing light fixtures, painting the bedrooms and so on. WELL, thanks to a house flood this past September which left us with concrete floors throughout, no baseboards and without a kitchen island we definitely got to compete all of those projects a lot sooner then we expected. Long story short our kitchen sink pipe busted in the middle of the night and ran for 5 hours before we woke up to it) You can get a first hand look inside the day it happened over on my Instagram highlight story tab, ‘Home Improvements’.
I’m so excited to share my first of many gift guides with y’all this holiday season. I absolutely love buying gifts for friends and family so it makes me more than happy to share with you some of my favorite finds. I know a lot of people can get overwhelmed when it comes to gift shopping, my biggest advice is just remember it doesn’t have to be an expensive extravagant gift to be memorable. I think personal, unique and unexpected are the best ways to stand out and be remembered for your gift giving.
