January Bar Cart Refresh

So it snowed almost an entire foot here in Kansas City this weekend but that didn’t stop me from continuing my spring cleaning and organizing which turned into me revamping my bar cart. I took all the Holiday decor off my bar cart and giving it a little spring refresh. I love to revamp my bar cart every couple of months and this time around I added some pops of color because I’m totally itching for spring, which is sooo far away, so my home decor will have to fill that void of sunshine and warm weather for now.

Hostess with the Mostest Gift Guide

I’m so excited to share my first of many gift guides with y’all this holiday season. I absolutely love buying gifts for friends and family so it makes me more than happy to share with you some of my favorite finds. I know a lot of people can get overwhelmed when it comes to gift shopping, my biggest advice is just remember it doesn’t have to be an expensive extravagant gift to be memorable. I think personal, unique and unexpected are the best ways to stand out and be remembered for your gift giving.

Holiday Living Room Decor

Tis’ the season y’all!! I was so very excited to get most of my holiday decor up over the weekend. With the house flood in September which left us with a gutted interior I was only able to decorate my front porch for fall so needless to say I was very much itching to pull out all our Christmas decor. Our kitchen is still not complete so I mainly focused on the living room. I still want to add some touches of fresh garland (I used my faux garland or now) along the mantle, doorways, and make wreaths for the windows. I just realized this post also serves as a living room remodel reveal too since I haven’t posted on it yet since we’ve gotten everything updated. The walls are still very bare because I’m waiting to hang anything until we get our new sectional (should be this week) which I am SO EXCITED about! I’ll have to do another post maybe after the holidays when the Christmas decor gets put up and the space is in its normal state. ANYWAYS, let’s get on to the holiday decor shall we!

Fall Decor Home Tour

If you’ve been following along on my Insta then you know our home flooded two weeks ago. We are FINALLY (two weeks has never felt longer) starting the remodel construction and my life should be back to normal (with better home finishes) within 5 weeks, thank goodness. With that being said this ‘home tour’ post is sadly not exactly what I had planned.  Because of the house situation there is obviously not much decorating happening inside however I was able to still decorate my front porch, which turned out so well! Keep your scroll to see all the front porch details plus my recommendations and inspo for inside!

GUYS, the best thing happened to me over the weekend. The decor gods answered my prayers and I found the bar cart of my dreams AND for the price of my dreams. I’ve been eyeing beautiful bar carts for over a year now but could never get myself to spend the $300 plus on these beauty’s ( I was unfortunately blessed with expensive taste), there always seemed to be something more important to put the money towards. BUT this weekend I just so happen to walk into a sale and that’s when I scored this gold metal and glass gorgeous bar cart originally $200 for $60! {Insert praise hands.} Today I wanted to share what goodies I keep stocked and decorated on my cart along with some recommendations for your inspiration!
