We’ve officially been moved into our new home for a month which is so crazy to believe since there is still SO much to do. I feel like I’ll be saying that for years though. When we first moved in, the pantry wasn’t a top priority for me so I kind of just thew everything in there. With this pantry being 5x’s bigger than our closet pantry at our old home it began to start collecting random household essentials like light bulbs, trash bags, batteries etc. I decided it was time to get it organized before it turned into a major disaster zone.
I love the idea of zero boxes or packaging and everything poured into a clear bin – but that’s just not realistic for me. I used hyacinth storage boxes to hide the packaged boxes as best as I could into their own categories and made the packaged snacks look pretty by displaying them in clear bins. While completely unnecessary, I thought these cereal dispensers were so fun that I had just to get them. I think I’ll add a third since I have the space.
As mentioned above this pantry is 5x’s bigger than our last house and not only is their more space to play with but it’s just Erick, Palmer and I and we honestly just don’t have that much food to store right now. So if you’re a family of five looking at this like what on earth – how!? That’s why it’s currently so spacious. I know our pantry won’t always look this way with this much empty space and I’m excited to see how it evolves throughout the years to our needs.

random piles of clutter everywhere
Wow, I love how this pantry is so organized/practical while still so aesthetically pleasing 😍
