I am so excited to share our experience at Le Blanc Resort & Spa in Los Cabo, Mexico with you guys. If you are mostly interested in what I wore on the trip head to this post here and for even more beachy resort wear inspo head to this post here. I can’t believe it’s already been three weeks since our trip and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think about our amazing time there everyday since. Erick and I have only been to Mexico one other time, 4 years ago for our Honeymoon. However, that trip was to Cancun, Mexico on the other side of the country. We wanted to take a fun trip to celebrate Erick’s 30th birthday so I reached out to my favorite and highly recommend travel agent, Denise Cannon with Travel Concepts KC. We first used Denise’s services for our Honeymoon and were blown away by her very personable and customized service, I truly can’t recommend Travel Concepts enough. Once you tell Denise a little background on what you’re wanting ie: destination locations, pricing, number of nights, etc she’ll compile an entire portfolio with recommendations completely customized to your needs. She’s also very helpful when it comes to setting up transportation from the airport to your resort destination + can answer any questions you may have about getting a passport/going through customs. Le Blanc is a five star, all-inclusive, adults only resort and truly a slice of heaven on earth. If you’re looking for something more family friendly I recommend checking out this full list of ocean front destinations owned by Palace Resorts.

Denise & I, she happened to be at the resort the same time as us with a group of her girlfriends.
After staying up late watching the KC Chiefs win the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years (whooo hooo!!) we woke up at 3:30AM on Monday to make our 5:30AM flight. Unfortunately, half of the plane got boarded before the captain came out and told the boarding clerk quite literally as Erick was handing her his boarding pass that everyone would need to de-board the plane because of a maintenance issue. To say this was a huge disappointment is an understatement. After 8 HOURS of hanging out at the Kansas City airport (30 min from our house/dogs) we finally boarded the plane and arrived to Cabo around 8:30PM Cabo time (we were supposed to arrive at 12:30PM). Le Blanc is (& most of the resorts) a 25 minute drive from the airport. When we arrived at Le Blanc I instantly felt relief as we were greeted with a refreshing rose enhanced spa towel to refresh our hands/neck/face (you pick) along with a glass of the most delightful tasting cucumber water. As the bellboy’s grabbed our luggage and brought it inside we were escorted into the gorgeous white marble lobby to a concierge desk where we then had a warm lavender and chamomile therapy neck pillow placed on our shoulders (this felt SO AMAZING after a long day of travel) and were given our member bracelet for our stay which would also act as our room key. This is also where we were introduced to our personal butler for the week and where they give you a brochure map of the resort and explained all the amenities + activities happening at the resort during your stay, this was very helpful.
The resort is only two years old and truly a stunning piece of artwork with marble + gold accents everywhere, if you know my style then you know I was OBSESSED with the interior decor – it truly took my breathe away. Le Blanc has many different restaurants to offer and all the ones we tried were great. Everything from Mexican, Italian, Lebanese, Asian, French (this is the only fine dining restaurant where you would need a reservation), Steakhouse, Seafood and a Pizzeria. The food was very good and some items exceptional, truly didn’t experience one bad thing. When we arrived it was late and we were starving so went to the pizzeria and oh. my. god. the shrimp pizza is to die. We ate this multiple times during the week, it was easily our favorite. It had cilantro and almost like a chipotle ranch dressing drizzled on it, drool.
Also available everyday when it came to food was a pool bar/kitchen menu, the cutest Churros, Street Taco and Ice Cream Cart and 24 hour room service if you didn’t feel like going to one of the restaurants.
We booked a partial ocean view suite and upon arrival were upgraded to a full ocean view suite. We were very excited about this and no telling what the reasoning was, they most likely just had the availability in rooms. The room was just as gorgeous as the rest of the grounds and equipped with all the amenities one could want or need. Their website says it best so I’m just going to leave that here: Adorned in sleek marble flooring throughout, this suite boasts a king-size bed, walk-in closet, living room area, pedestal tub, and a refreshing rain shower, along with BVLGARI® bath products, CHI hairdryer & straightener. Unwind on your personal balcony and take in gorgeous ocean vistas. A bottle of red wine and tequila are your welcome gift to enjoy or take with you when you depart, and your personal butler service is on hand to happily unpack your bags, draw you a wonderful bath and make your dinner reservations, tending to your every need. Browse through an extensive comfort menu featuring indulgent aromatherapy options, specialty pillows, bath salts, and sumptuous handcrafted soaps. Tune to Apple TV, equipped with apps like iTunes and Netflix, for quality entertainment as you peruse your daily-refreshed mini bar and premium selection of spirits from your liquor dispenser.

Our Deluxe Ocean View Suite

Gorgeous view from the bathroom while getting ready
Balcony Vibes
Our room/balcony was dead center in the middle of the resort which made for the most gorgeous symmetrical views (lol). Something to note about Cabo in general is that the water is rough and dark with the red no swim flag being up most of the time. If you are wanting clear blue water + be able to go into the ocean the other side of Mexico on the Gulf is where you would want to be. However, something we didn’t get in Cancun and did see multiple times in Cabo was WHALES! We whale watched from our Balcony every morning and saw even more whales up close and personal on our sunset sale (keep scrolling for that).
The Pool + Other Activities
There are 3 main pools, 2 smaller pools and 2 large hot tubs at Le Blanc. Two of the main pools both have a swim up bar and the biggest of these two overlooks the ocean with an infinity edge, so gorgeous. The highest temps we got while there was 72 degrees, luckily the pools were heated and felt nice when the sun was shining down in the middle of the day. When it was cloudy or the pool water temp just felt too cool the hot tubs were perfect and had plenty of room. There was a blow up volley ball court/net in one of the pools along with beach volley ball (Erick played and this is where we met some great new friends). There was a ping pong table in the pool area and an aqua spinning class (really sad I didn’t get to try this). There is also a gym onsite full of machines and equipment, morning rooftop yoga overlooking the ocean, pilates, cross training and more. OH, also, one of my favorite parts of everyday was watching the trained horses walk up and down the beach with their handler. Horse back riding on the beach would be so fun. Erick and I went horseback riding in the jungle when we were in Cancun so we didn’t this trip.

New friends! Mad at myself for not making the girls take a picture together. I blame it on too many margs.
Luxury Sunset Sail & Golf
Denise (our travel agent) set this up for us through Le Blanc and it was such a fun little afternoon/evening out to see Cabo’s landmark arches. It was very cool to see the famous arches at sunset + the beautiful homes up along the coast. Complete with a champagne toast to start things off, appetizers and wine/beer/margarita’s and we even saw some whales! Video below. As mentioned earlier the reason we took this vacation was to celebrate Erick’s 30th birthday and his favorite past time is golf so we of course had to get a round in on his birthday. Again, Denise (seriously so amazing) set this up for us through Palmilla Golf course which was great. Click here for more info on the sunset sale and here for all other activities.
The Spa
The spa was amazing and I wish we had more time to spend there. We received the couples massage and it was so relaxing. No matter what spa service you choose I highly recommend getting to your appointment 30-40 minutes early or plan on staying after to enjoy the complimentary hydrotherapy services.
Begin hydrotherapy with a quick shower
Detox your body using the sauna and steam rooms
Depart the heat and enter our ice room.
Continue with a refreshing shower
Relax in our whirlpool tub
Cool yourself with an aromatic facial towel
Immerse in the cool and warm pools
Finish with another quick shower
Pause after each cold and hot phase with a refreshing drink of tea or chlorophyll water

Cocoon lounge beds to relax on in-between services

The Garra Rufa fish pedicure. The fish gently remove dead cells from the outer layer of skin without touching the inner layers.
Again, I can’t recommend both Denise with Travel Concepts and Le Blanc Spa Resort in Los Cabos enough. As always, please let me know if you have any questions by leaving a comment below or shooting me over an email at ellemaefashionblog@gmail.com.
Hi!! I am about to travel to Le Blanc Cabo in a few days and found your blog from searching about the resort. I have a question about style.. what was the overall vibe for daytime and night time? Did people dress up a lot for dinners/was it casual during the day? I’m not too worried, but wanted to hear what you thought! Thanks!
Hi Madeline, eee! so excited for you to travel to Le Blanc, it’s seriously so fabulous – you’ll have the best time! The great part about this resort is you can be both either casual or dress up if you want to. If you go more casual maybe just wear a nice pair of sandals vs a pool side flip flop but overall there really was a great mix of both. There’s also a mix of more upscale and casual restaurants which you’ll get a brochure of when you get there. Have the best time!
Hi! Would you recommend a wedding here?
