Friyay Favorites {October 5th}

Happy happy Friyay y’all! Whew, we made it. It’s been quite the week for me as we packed up our house and moved it all to the garage to prepare for the inside of our house to be painted from ceiling to floor. After paint we’ll get the floors going and then hopefully be back into normal living conditions in 3-4 weeks!  ANYWAYS, I’m super excited for this weekend, if you’re from Kansas City y’all should be sure to come by the HMK store on the plaza to celebrate their 5th birthday! I’ll be there along with other local bloggers, influencers and local creators doing a live question panel and sharing insight into what we do. Okay, now onto why you clicked on this post, here are my current favorites for the week!

{Favorite Bag}

How cute is this Apolis Market Bag?! They have so many cute sayings OR you can do what I did and customize it to say whatever you’d like.  Your purchase also helps break poverty cycle, the mothers who handcraft your bag receive Fair Trade wages, annual profit dividends, and a retirement fund; read Forbes.com‘s article on how this approach is changing people’s lives, with 180,000 bags and counting.  You guys can use code ELLEMAEBLOG when checking out from Apolis website for free ground shipping on all US orders.

{ Favorite beauty product}

I’ve been using Lash Boost y Rodan and Fields since last April and I absolutely LOVE it. I have super short and straight natural lashes and this stuff has seriously improved the length of my lashes so much. Because my natural lashes are blonde it’s hard to show before/after photos but I promise you guys, it REALLY works an is a total game changer. Reach out to my girl Lindsey to order!

{ favorite lip color }

I’m absolutley loving both of these soft mauve lip colors for fall. The one on the left is YSL Rouge Volupte shine oil-in-stick lipstick in color number 44 Lavalliere Nude. The Mac lipstick on the right is called Mac Nude Lipstick in color ‘Teddy Velvet’.

{favorite joggers}

GUYS, these fuzzy cozy joggers are so soft and comfortable and I LOVE the blush pink color.  Also, these slippers are a must.

{favorite face mask}

I just tried this PTR Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer and loved it! Not only is it festive with it being pumpkin but more importantly it’s so good for your skin. The exfoliator mask uses aluminum oxide crystals, pumpkin enzymes, and an alpha hydroxy acid to reveal smooth, radiant skin.  This mask helps with dullness, uneven skin, texture, an pores.

I hope y’all have the best weekend!

XX,
