hi friends and happy monday to you all! can you believe we are already half way through september and soon october and all your favorite fall traditions will be in full swing!? so crazy how fast this year has gone by. anyways, today i’m sharing some of my favorite fall fashion trends in tops.

{Lace Up Sweater}

this fall sweater trend is a no brainer. the ever so popular lace up sweater from last year is back again with a bang for fall 2017. You can find this lace up trend on necklines, backlines, shoulders, and hemlines. I absolutely love this grey Lace up side drop sweater, this Pink lace up v-neck sweater, and this Tan high low + flare sleeve lace up sweater.

{Velvet + Trumpet Flare Sleeves}

how chic are both of these velvet trumpet sleeve tops?! velvet just screams fall and holiday and i truly love it. however, crushed velvet is another story for another day, haha. anyways, this Choker Neck Trumpet Sleeve Velvet top makes for the perfect date night top paired with some dark wash raw hem skinnies and your favorite heel. this pink Frill detail Tiered Velvet Top is another favorite. I love the ribbed detail along with that tiered sleeve and cute little ruffle at the seam.

{ruffles ruffles ruffles}

probably one of my favorite trends right now, the ruffle. so simple and cute and can make a simple top so much cuter with its presence. this Layered frill trim cardigan  looks so cozy. this flounce trim belle sleeve top is the perfect casual top to add with your favorite denim and this Black layered belle sleeve top is one of my favorite dressier options.

{Open shoulder sweater}

move over cold shoulder, the open shoulder detail can be found all over this fall. I’m loving this grey knit sweater one , so cozy.

{Bow + Knot ties}

love love love all things bow and knot ties, they’re like ruffles to me, they just add the perfect little detail to any piece. loving the twist back knot sweater trend is another one of my favorites this season. this nude frilled bow tie top is a chic version of this trend and I know I said this post was just for tops but I could not include these adorable Black ruffle knot velvet mules.

{cable knit}

last but certainly not least is the tried and true classic cable knit sweater. your fall wardrobe isn’t complete without a cable knit piece. loving this khaki cable knit cardigan, this Light pink cable knit sweate, and this high neck cable neck sweater.
