hi friends! I’m so very excited to be heading down south { stay tuned for more details next week } for a sunny pool side vacation to celebrate my husband erick and i’s first wedding anniversary! with that being said today i wanted to share what beauty travel essentials i must have with me for some fun in the sun.
{ spf }
most importantly you must have sunscreen to protect your skin. there’s nothing that harms and ages your skin faster then a few days of straight sunshine without protection. make sure your MOISTURIZER has 30 spf or higher and your body sunscreen is 50 spf or higher, anything below that is pretty much pointless. Also, don’t forget to read the label and reapply through out the day or after getting in the water.
{ HYDRATING face mist }
i love love love having this hydrating face mist in my bag at all times. It’s perfect after getting off the plane or after being out in the sun all day.
{ BRONZEr/highlighter }
Love the Mario Badescu facial spray! Definitely need to try that Honest SPF! Such great picks! xo Sam

I’m currently obsessed with the DryBar spritzer! I haven’t tried the Honest Company’s sunscreen, but I’m sure it’s amazing! If you don’t already use them, DryBar also has travel-sized dry shampoos. They’re life-changing!!!
These photos are so lovely, I want to try all of these

My Garnier BB cream is always a must have in my essentials for vacations. I don’t like to wear foundation especially if I am going to a tropical destination. So a BB cream gives me enough coverage has SPF and its not too heavy on the face. Thanks for sharing you favorite’s ! xo, Emily (SCsister)

I totally agree with the Dry Bar hair spritzer- I took it to Mexico just last week and was excellent. I have never tried an aloe face mask but that may be in order for my next trip!
