erick and i love to entertain and with spring in full swing and summer just around the corner i thought it was time to refresh the bar cart and highlight some of my favorite essentials and styling tips with y’all!
{ The bar cart }
First things first you need a bar cart. luckily bar carts have become so popular and i’ve seen so many cute ones at homegoods, tj maxx, and marshall’s in the $100-$150 price range. Target always has some fabulous ones as well including this one here which i’m obsessed with.
{ bar UTENSILS and tools }
It’s important to have all the necessary tools on your bar cart so you’re always prepared to mix up that specialty drink! Cork screw, bottle opener, strainer, shaker, single and double shot glass, and tongs. I love this copper set along wit this gorgeous gold and marble set from WEst elm. This yellow gold bar tool set is under $40.
{ drink ware }
This is something you can easily switch out depending on what drinks you plan on serving. Think CHAMPAGNE glasses for brunch or a party where there will be a toast. Margarita, wine, and copper mugs are always a staple in our house as I love all three and use the copper mugs for my fav moscow mule. I can always count on my favorite place homegoods to have the cutest glassware when it comes to decorating the bar cart. I also love all the DRINK WARE from easy tiger.
{ alcohol + Mixers }
This one might seem obvious but it had to be mentioned. I like to keep the basic favorites stocked up. TEQUILA, vodka, whiskey, white and red wine along with some mixer options including ginger beer, enhanced sparkling water, and lemonade.
{ straws + napkins + stirrers }
a bar cart ins’t complete with out cute paper straws and napkins! You can find paper straws just about anywhere now days including target, hobby lobby, party city, and etsy. I found the cute flamingo napkins and koozie pictured above in the dollar spot at target, so cute! The gold pinapple drink stirrers are also from target and were only $3!
I want everything you filled your bar cart with + that bar cart! So well done!
