Day two in Nashville was greeted with a modern day time travel to the classy establishment of Pinewood Social. Modern hipster vibe meets 70’s diner is how I would best describe this fabulous hang out suitable for morning, afternoon, or night. We had the best time sipping on Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas while planning out day two in Nashville before heading to see THE Queen herself, Beyonce, later that night.
After our deliscious brunch we headed to the newly developed 12South neighborhood. Charming boutiques, adorable coffee shops, an array of dining and bar options, and beautifully restored homes are all within walking distance. We stopped at Jenni’s Splendid Ice Cream for a sweet treat and hit up one of my must see shops at 12South, Reece Weatherspoon’s boutique Draper James. This charming little boutique is just what you’d expect from the southern belle herself. One foot int he door and we were offered a fresh glass of sweet tea, I mean come on, how cute is that!? It was full of classy pieces including home decor and furnishing all with Reece’s southern charm and flare. Reece is known to pop in often, sadly she didn’t make an appearance while we were there. You can check out the official Draper James Instagram page here to get a better feel for this lovely brand. After being on our feet all day we of course needed to reboot by ordering a pitcher of Jalapeño Margs at Bartaco, an open air restaurant and bar which was perfect to sit and sip while enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
With a little pep added back in our step it was time to go get ready for the main event of our trip, BEYONCE! As expected she put on a fabulous show! This women is so inspirational to me, her fierce and confident presence and the girls ability to dance had me all heart eye’d emojied all night long! From the costume changes, choreography, and show productions it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to. I loved my Gianni Bini tie front dress I wore not only because it’s so cute and fitted in all the right places without being too tight but it was SO comfortable. A brown leather or vegan leather jacket is staple in every girls wardrobe and you can find similar styles to mine here, here and here.
I’m going to leave you with three things. One, a fabulous quote I found on a little make up bag while shopping in Nashville. Two, photos of this fantastic day so you can see the adorableness of Nashville for yourself. & Three, the most magical 3 minute video from Beyonce’s show of her singing one of my favorite songs “Love on Top” all by her self. No back up singers or band, just a little help form the crowd, get ready for all the goosebumps. OH, okay, fine and FOUR a little clip from the concert of the fierce Queen B we all know and love!
