T-shirt dress // Chambray button front // Hunter rain boots // J Crew tortoise crystal necklace
To say the weather was perfect in this part of the country over the weekend would be an understatement. With the temps in the high 70’s and that cool breeze you could truly feel the fall vibes creeping in and I’m so in love with it! Today I’m sharing my comfy cute outfit from Saturdays little adventure we took to Weston, Missouri. My husband Erick and I picked apples, pet the farm animals, and sipped on delicious apple pie slushies at the adorable Weston Red Barn Farm. Then we headed to Weston’s charming downtown area where I felt like we stepped right onto the set of one of our favorite movies, Sweet Home Alabama. The streets were full of locals and nearby wanders exploring the cute little boutiques, coffee shops, wineries, and brewery’s the town has to offer. Erick and I explored and sampled our fair share of delicious wines while enjoying live music out on a patio before heading back home to sit around the fire pit with good friends. Of course we took some goodies home with us including fresh picked apples, a bottle of wine (duh!), and some AUHmazing smelling homemade soap and candles – success! If you live in the Kansas City area I highly suggest taking a little day trip to this sweet town!
I love a good t-shirt dress, they’re so comforatable and right on trend as we head into fall, check out this one that comes in multiple colors and for such a great price you NEED all four! Every girl should own a chambray button front, if not five, it’s such an easy piece to wear on it’s own, tie around your waist, or thrown on over a tee or dress like I wore here. I absolutely L O V E my Hunter rain boots and I was so excited I finally got to pull them off the shelf to wear this weekend. My necklace is from J Crew (of course, right?), click here for a similar style.
