It’s something I’ve thought about for so many years. I’ve spent countless hours admiring my favorite bloggers and as I’d scroll through their post’s on a beautiful Anthropology bedding find or a delicious and gorgeous presentation for Berry + Lavender Cake  I’d think to myself, I could be doing this. I love all things fashion, I very much enjoy going to the west bottoms in down town Kansas City in search of a new piece for my home, heck  I LOVE going to HomeGoods and loading my cart full with fabulous finds. Although I don’t necessarily enjoy cooking or baking – I try. I definitely appreciate the art and I am quite good at finding a charming little bakery or delicious hidden restaurant if I do say so myself. I live for a good party and I live even harder to throw that good party. “I should start my own lifestyle blog” I would think to myself and today I’m doing just that.

After spending the last year planning my dream wedding to my handsome husband Erick it became even more evident to me that I had a passion for planning, coordinating, and throwing a fantastic party. Let’s face it, whether it’s a birthday party, a bridal or baby shower, rehearsal dinner, or a wedding – at the end of the day the reason behind the dollars, no matter your budget, is to throw an AMAZING PARTY .You want to leave your guests in awe, you want your guests enjoying themselves like no other event they’ve been to and that will leave them talking for months. Otherwise, you’d just go down to the courthouse for that wedding right?

Home sweet home is a good description of how I feel in life right about now. Married to my best friend, sharing a home with our crazily loved pooches, and both having careers which we enjoy. With our beautiful May wedding behind us and my free time feeling rather empty I thought what better time to do this? So here I am starting my first lifestyle blog and what I hope can be a place for readers to come and get inspired. Like most brides, I was left with quite a bit of decorative and party hosting items that I just can’t part with.
